Psychological Health & Wellbeing Check-Ins
SL Training Centre delivers workplace psychological health and wellbeing check-ins that go beyond a simple 20-minute surface level health check. Having spent decades as a health professional, and performing numerous standard health checks for other companies, our Director, Sherryn, felt we could do better:
"Most of the health checks available simply measure basic parameters and provide simple information that people already know. They ask people about their mental health, but allow for no time to unpack it, discuss it or adequately refer them for further treatment. I asked a man about his mental health on a provided scale and there was a small box to tick responses, but no allocation to really listen. I opened the can of worms and then moved on to the next question, because they only allowed 20 minutes for essentially a questionnaire plus a finger prick test"
Our psychological health and wellbeing check-ins allow for 45 minutes of dedicated one-on-one time with each employee, allowing for adequate discussion and coaching specific to their needs, a more thorough health assessment, and 15 minutes of time post appointment for a personal action plan, referrals and follow ups. They are also performed by our highly qualified Director and not outsourced to contractors.
